The German American Societies of San Diego hosts its 2019 Maifest. Maifest celebrates the end of winter and the renewed life with the arrival of spring, the blooming of flowers and warmer weather. Admittedly, the meaning of Maifest loses something here in San Diego's mild climate. Nevertheless, we can still enjoy the enjoy the German Maifest tradition including:

Entry for members is free. Entry tickets for nonmembers will be available by early April.
This event will be the club's only Biergarten event prior to Oktoberfest. No Sommerfest is planned for this year so this will be your only chance to enjoy the Biergarten atmosphere before autumn. Don't miss it!!
